LOCATION:
The beautiful Viktoriapark with waterfall and Schinkel Memorial, offering fantastic views of Berlin, is just 2 minutes away by foot. The popular Bergmannstrasse with many attractive cafes, shops and restaurants and the Chamisso quarter with decorative stucco buildings are also nearby on foot. Potsdamer Platz and Tiergarten are only about 1.5 km away and Kurfuerstendamm (KaDeWe) about 2 km.
Shops and supermarkets, bakeries, a liquor store, petrol station etc. are all literally just around the corner. Some of the supermarkets in the area are open until midnight. There are also two large organic supermarkets nearby as well as supermarkets and a market hall with a large selection of organic products and a weekly organic market at Chamissoplatz. Restaurants with a wide range of international cuisines, including gourmet restaurants, are close by.

The location is Wrangelstrasse 68 in the Schlesiches Tor area of Kreuzberg. All the basic needs are nearby, and a lot of cool bars and clubs also. If interested I could also sublet you my gym membership at Fitness Am Park near the Trepwover Park S-bahn station. The cost of that is 45 per month I think, though might be 49, I have to check.

Oderberger Strasse is excellent for public transport (trams and trains) and there is a bicycle hire shop opposite the apartment building. There is a Kaisers Supermarket around the corner, and of course a vast range of cafes, restaurants, shops & galleries all along and around Oderberger Strasse. This boulevard is also well known for its array of quirky second-hand shops.
The fabulous Mauer Park is around the corner (Mauer means wall, so you can see where the wall used to be) and this park hosts Berlin’s largest and wildest markets every Sunday. This market is a spectacle, so if you’re into photography, you’ll be in for a real treat.
For a comfortable stay in a quiet, clean apartment which is in the very best part of this brilliant city, you can’t get better than this.

It´s really well connected to all the tourist and business areas
The room has 19qm, is really nice, comfortable and furnished with everything you need. There is a pretty big kitchen, as well as a washing machine and a dishwasher. The flat is on the 2nd floor, in Jungstr.6 in berlin/friedrichshain and is shared of 3 people in total. In only a few minutes walk you can reach supermarkets on frankfurter allee and subway station samariterstr and tram at scharnweberstr. The price of 285 € includes all utilities plus telephone (landline within germany) and internet flatrate.

The Street – Worther Strasse (and see below for further information)
Worther Strasse, just off Kollwitz Platz, epitomises the historically beautiful old East Berlin. This grand, tree-lined street is noted for its fabulous cafes, bars, restaurants and chic boutiques. At the front of the building is the well known St. George English bookshop (with superb screenings of art-house/off-beat movies in English every Tuesday night) and across the road there’s some wonderful wine-bars and the very cool ‘Querbeet’ Bakery Café. The apartment is also just a few minutes walk from the U2 Senefelder Platz station and is even closer to the M10 tram which rolls all the way down the hill to the landmark TV tower in Mitte. It’s all on your doorstep!
There are countless restaurants, cafes, shops, galeries in the street and the surrounding area and there is
even a 24hr Health Food Store, which is very rare, because there are only two of those in Berlin.
The flat can sleep 2-3 people (there is a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a couch).
The picture of the bedroom only shows half of it, the other half has a desk and drawers, it is more spacious
than it appears, actually! The kitchen is very new and has the usual (refrigerator, oven, etc)

I don't have time to go on here about how nice the flat and the area is, but from checking the other offers

My Checkpoint Charlie apartment is located right on the border between Kreuzberg, the former west, and Mitte, the former east.
Although it is absolutely central, with the subway line 6 stop right across, it is calm and sunny.

The appartment is full furnitured with Antic Chinese furnitures mixed with some Ikea Stuffs, full kitchen equipments. Bedroom is with doublebed and very nice furnitures, faced to the backyard, very quiete.The house is entirely brand new renovated, very good systems in water, electricity and central heating. The livingroom is 28sqm, kitchen 8sqm, bathroom 9sqm, bedroom 10sqm, closet 1,5sqm, floor 4,5sqm.
